Beef Meatballs in Pineapple Sauce
Ingredients:1 lb. ground beef 3/4 c. minced celery = See ingredient with photo 3/4 c. finely chopped almonds 1 tsp. salt 2 cloves garlic, minced = See ingredient with photo 1/2 c. bread crumbs 1 tbsp. soy sauce = See ingredient with photo 1/2 tsp. MSG = See ingredient with photo 2 eggs, beaten Cornstarch = See ingredient with photo 2 tbsp. cooking oil Pineapple sauce: 1/3 c. sugar 3 tbsp. cornstarch = See ingredient with photo 1 c. chicken broth 1/2 c. vinegar 2 tbsp. soy sauce = See ingredient with photo 1/2 c. pineapple juice 1 green pepper, cut into strips = See ingredient with photo 1 c. pineapple chunks Directions: Combine beef, celery, almonds, garlic and salt. Mix well. Add crumbs, soy sauce, MSG, and eggs; mix well. Shape into balls the size of walnuts. Roll in cornstarch. Heat oil in large skillet and brown meatballs on all sides until thoroughly cooked. Serve with pineapple sauce. Combine sauce ingredients and mix well. |
